HYDRAULIC ELEVATORS

A hydraulic elevator is a type of elevator that uses a hydraulic system to lift and lower the elevator car. It operates by pushing a piston inside a cylinder using hydraulic fluid (oil), which is pumped by an electric motor. Hydraulic Elevators can be operated either in Single/Three Phase Power supply.

How It Works:

  1. Lifting: A pump pushes hydraulic fluid into the cylinder, forcing the piston to rise and lift the elevator car.
  2. Lowering: A valve releases the hydraulic fluid back into the reservoir, allowing the car to descend smoothly by gravity.

At Skymach Elevators we offer:

  • Conventional Hydraulic Elevators – Use an underground cylinder.
  • Holeless Hydraulic Elevators – Use above-ground pistons for buildings without deep pits.
  • Roped Hydraulic Elevators – Combine hydraulic power with ropes for higher travel distances.

Advantages of Hydraulic Elevators:

✔ Cost-effective for low- to mid-rise buildings
✔ Smooth and quiet operation
✔ No need for an overhead machine room

No need for an deep elevator lift pit.
